My Approach
I help couples and individuals create stronger, more secure connections by focusing on emotional attunement and healthy communication. Whether you’re working on your relationship with a partner or doing individual work to improve how you show up in relationships, I support you in feeling more understood, confident, and connected.
We will work together to:
Identify and shift negative communication patterns
Build skills for expressing needs clearly and listening with empathy
Heal underlying emotional wounds that fuel disconnection
Restore physical and emotional intimacy (for couples)
Develop practical tools you can use long after therapy ends
This approach is especially effective for motivated people who want both deeper understanding and real-world results. In addition, I bring in specialized sex therapy expertise (AASECT Certified) when intimacy or sexual concerns are part of the picture. For those interested, I also value integrating faith and spirituality into the therapy process.
Common issues we may address include:
Recurring arguments and communication breakdowns
Emotional distance or feeling like “roommates”
Intimacy, desire differences, and sexual concerns
Infidelity recovery and rebuilding trust
Premarital counseling and relationship strengthening
Individual work on relationship patterns, codependency, or past wounds
Parenting stress and family dynamics
Trauma responses and life transitions
